There are no wolves in Big Bend
We bought a puzzle in a Big Bend general store. It had a wolf in it. (And elk, which barely wander into the park, if ever!)
America's national parks deserve better

back in an afternoon. No puzzle could capture it. We got close.
Our Design Philosophy
Inspired by the American Romantics
In the 19th century, a generation of American painters, writers, and explorers believed that wilderness was sacred — worth documenting with reverence, accuracy, and awe. The Hudson River School painters didn't invent their landscapes. They went there. They studied the light falling across the Catskills, the mist rising from Niagara, the vast sweep of the American West. John Muir didn't describe Yosemite from memory. He lived in it.
We carry that same conviction, even when the canvas has changed. Every Nomad Puzzles Co. scene begins with research — the actual flora, the actual fauna, the actual character of that specific place. The wolf doesn't belong in Big Bend. The emerald green of the Rio Grande does. The Milky Way over the Chihuahuan Desert does. The javelina rooting through the desert scrub does.
The wilderness is the inspiration. Getting it right is the work.
